On a new level of information security of Russia in the context of modern solutions on legal regulation of the quantum communications industry

The article is devoted to the analysis of conceptual approaches to the problem of legal regulation of sectoral aspects of quantum communication, which are directly related to the solution of the issue associated with the essential directions of strengthening the information security of the Russian Federation and corresponding to modern achievements of quantum physics. Clarifying certain points of the cryptographic approach to protecting the most significant information transmitted over communication networks, the author focuses on the importance of adopting new standards for the legal regulation of quantum communication that contribute to the combination of information security, technological sovereignty and ensuring human rights and freedoms.
