In modern education, the problems of improving the assessment of the quality of knowledge, skills and abilities acquired by students in the educational process are of particular relevance. In this regard, the article discusses the methodological aspects of the application of a cumulative system for assessing student academic performance as one of the indicators of the level of development of both a separate discipline and the entire educational program.
