About the concept “literary landscape”

The article attempts to expand the concept of “literary landscape”. The emphasis is shifted from cultural, historical or geographical components to literary material itself. The manifestation and significance of the literary landscape in the novels by N.S. Leskov “On the Knives” and B. Shlinka “Olga” is considered.
