On the Concept of the Right to Biological Safety

The present study contains an analysis of the concept, content and legal nature of the subjective right of citizens to biological safety and the corresponding obligations of the state to ensure the implementation of this right. As a result of the study, it is concluded that the right to biological safety is a complex subjective right that includes many different aspects, such as the right to health protection, information, a favorable environment, etc. The relativity of a citizen’s right to biological safety is confirmed by the possibility of exercising specific powers of a citizen assigned to him in the law, and specific corresponding duties on the part of the state.
