On the notion of solving crimes in hot on the trail

The article deals with certain issues of legal regulation and law enforcement activitiescarried out by employees of internal affairs bodies and other law enforcement agencies in thecourse of consideration of reports of crimes and crime detection on hot pursuit. Different pointsof view and approaches to the concept of “crime detection” are considered, on the basis of thestudy the author’s definition of crime detection on hot pursuit is formulated. Attention is paid tothe factual and legal grounds to consider the crime solved, the peculiarities of operationalaccounting of solved crimes in the territorial bodies of internal affairs, as well as employees ofdepartments of internal affairs during crime solving on hot scents
