On usage of analytical hierarchical procedure for the solution of task of instant messenger's choice

The article provides a procedure for subjective choice of an instant messenger (IM) with the use of analytical hierarchical procedure. Comparison criteria were formulated, alternative IMs were chosen and matrixes of paired comparisons to determine the most important criteria for selection and most preferred instant messengers for each criterion were filled. As a result of the calculations, global priorities of IMs were obtained and the most preferred ones were chosen according to the previously declared preferences of the decision maker.
