The article deals with the initial studies regarding the development of the mathematical language of the students. The author considers the forms of enhancing of the educational process and the application of intensive teaching methods aimed at the development of higher school students’ speech in view of the increased requirements to the educational process and rapidly increasing amount of knowledge.
