About the problem of application of mathematical programming methods in estimating the efficiency of cultural institutions

The article is devoted to the study of the application of methods of mathematical programming in order to assess the effectiveness of the functioning of organizations in the sphere of culture. The author considered the expediency of using modern achievements of science in the field of mathematical programming in the framework of the evaluation process of the activities of cultural institutions, justified the need for advanced training of specialists in this field. The standard variant of modeling the task of determining the effectiveness and optimality of activity is considered and its advantages are indicated.
