On the problem of development management of small enterprises in the SPA-services of the city of Kazan

The article studies the problem of development management of small enter- prises in the sphere of spa-services of Kazan, the city with thousand-year history. Services of massage salons, as well as the industry of spa and wellness, are one of fast-growing industries of the world economy now. The responsible attitude of people to health transforms purely medical (hospital) services to spa and wellness services of health improving rest. Modern spa and wellness product has the flexible integrated structure, from high-technology medical and diag- nostic services to various specialized food services, a recreation, accommoda- tion, treatment, psychological recovery. According to various marketing researches the spa services market in Kazan is dynamically developing niche with very high potential for investments. Demand for services in a relaxation, rest, fast recovery of forces in connection with emo- tional stresses and constantly accelerating rate of business and life in such big city as Kazan, grows. Many researchers give attention to the problems of formation, management, world, but relating to the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan no such studies had been conducted. In the course of this research the authors have studied opinion of both visitors and managers and employees of spa services salon in Kazan. Based on the obtained data the matrix of the possible directions of further development of small enterprises of the sphere of spa services in Kazan is cre- ated.
