On the issue of compensation for procedural costs in connection with the participation of the representative in ensuring the rights of victims in criminal proceedings

The article is devoted to the problem of compensation of procedural costs to the representative of the victim in criminal proceedings. Relevance of research is connected with insuffcient development of the identifed problems within the industry of criminal procedural law. The article analyzes the trends in the formation of the Russian judicial practice related to the reimbursement of expenses for the services of a representative and the determination of the size. On examples from judicial practice some problem questions devoted to this subject are considered. In addition, it is concluded that it is necessary to give the victim the right to use the services of a representative for the appointment and reimbursement of expenses from the Federal budget, to make a reasoned decision by the court on reducing the amount of procedural costs for the services of a representative.
