On the problem of revealing the composition and boundaries of lexical-semantic field "Human" (based on the material of the Russian language)

It is devoted to the peculiarities of identifying the composition of individual lexical-thematic groups of the semantic field “Human”. The concept of mental lexicon is defined and it is noted that the organization of mental lexicon units into groups and subgroups based on semantic features is the most significant for the entire structure of the lexicon. When analyzing the concept of the lexical-semantic field, different approaches are compared to highlight its structural units, which are considered lexical-semantic and thematic groups, their units are determined. It is proposed to use tasks aimed at grouping words according to one or another principle to identify the level of knowledge of Russian as a foreign language. The conclusion is made about the possibility of compiling such tasks for the Internet contest “Experts in the Russian language”.
