Concerning the procedural period of court judgments’ review in the modern criminal procedure of Russia

On the basis of the effective Criminal Procedure Law, the article analyses the procedural period of the court judgments’ review in various forms stipulated by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. The author justifies an original position concerning the possibility and necessity of establishment of limited timeframes of verdict review in cassation and supervising forms.
