About psychological assistance to child victims of sexual violence

The article deals with the problems of violence, including virtual child sexual abuse, the ways of psychological assistance to the victims of violence. In postmodern society there is a problem of Internet use, in particular, virtual child sexual abuse perpetrated by the World Wide Web, which contributes to formation of child antisocial behavior, identity disintegration, disruption of psychosexual development, aggressiveness, negative mental states - anxiety, depression, irritability, fear, guilt, shame. We underline the importance of moral and sexual education aimed at preventing an unhealthy interest to negative information, responsibility of parents and children for selecting information on the Internet. There is a need to address the issues of child information security at the governmental level by introduction of special educational programs, psychological assistance and rehabilitation of child victims of violence and family abuse.
