The study presented a brief description of Belorechensk archeological culture developed in the 13th-15th centuries in the Kuban region. The main cultural and ethnic components of this culture (Adyghe, Genoese and Golden Horde) were revealed. The study noted the Mamluk component in the composition of Belorechensk archeological culture. The research identified the elements of Belorechensk archeological culture in the Central Ciscaucasia in the Golden Horde period and the subsequent epoch. In particular, the paper described the peculiarities of the funeral rite (burial in the so-called copper coffins) as well as similar burial items (imported vessels, amulet cases). The author concluded that the bearers of Belorechensk archeological culture were involved in the development of several originally multi-ethnic groups of the North Caucasian elites, i.e. the Inalids in the Kuban and Terek region, the Badeliats in Digoria, and the Basiats in the headwaters of the Cherek River. The paper noted the unique sculpture of Duka-bek as a monument to the era when the Old Kabardian culture development was completed.
