The article highlights the importance of basic knowledge in Biology for the physician of any specialty. The course of General Biology is intended to contribute in a future physician an individual attitude to each patient as a unique phenomenon predetermined by a genome and implemented in the specific environments. There are some educational methods of teaching the Biology at the Department of Medicobiologic sciences of Saratov Medical Institute “REAVIZ”.
