The question of correlation between biological pathology, age and education factors in mental development of a challenged child is relevant for correctional methods development. The author studies a case of a child with autism, who has been under the medical supervision of the neuropsychologist for 7 years. The undertaken study proves that the biological pathology factor creates circumstances of the development; educational one stimulates the development, but the principle driving force of the challenged child’s development is his age-based development.
