On the Role and Tasks of Higher Education in the Development of Knowledge-Intensive Technological Business and Technological Entrepreneurship

The problems of personnel support for the development of a knowledge–based technology business, one of the important areas in solving the tasks of achieving technological leadership in Russia, are discussed. The methodological aspects of the development of high-tech business in the technical fi eld, including in the organization of the educational process in higher education, methods of training engineering personnel capable of achieving the goals of technological leadership, are considered. As one of the methodological tools, a detailed algorithm for the formation of a high-tech technology business is presented, covering all stages, from the origin of an idea to successful commercialization. It describes the features and key results of each stage, the relationship of such a business with technological entrepreneurship. It is assumed that the algorithm can become an essential element of the specialist training system and the basis for eff ective interaction in the innovation environment of all stakeholders.
