On the role of cultural heritage in the socialization of young people

The article presents a concept that defines the significance of cultural heritage in the socialization of young people. The potential of cultural heritage is characterized multilaterally, and its aspects that are important for the socialization of young people are highlighted. Among them: unifying, moral, educational, scientific and aesthetic aspects. Problems with the translation of the cultural heritage of young people due to increased sociodynamics, the introduction of information technologies, the shift of ideological attitudes and dominants, and the expansion of the influence of mass media are revealed. The principles that can serve as a support in the process of broadcasting cultural heritage to young people are proposed. Among them are the principles of integrity of the educational process, complexity, reliance on universal values, environmental identification, and the development of personality-oriented meanings.
