Importance of social capital in the economic process

The article is devoted to the research of the social capital and the problem of social capital development and accumulation, which predetermine the study of its concept and categorical apparatus of the social capital. While the concept of the social capital is widely discussed and studied in foreign scientific publications, the need for recognizing and improving the availability and development of such a research in the Russian economy still exists. This article is devoted to the problem of the social capital ’s role in the economy.
