The article discusses a problem of professional fulfillment of young people with disabilities. The paper defines a term “additional education institution”, describes typical activities of these establishments, in particular, such an area of the activities, as development of creative abilities of disabled children. The author believes that the choice of one or another creative activity in the conditions of additional education helps disabled children with further occupational choice. Special attention is paid to the specifics of teacher’s work with disabled students in the system of additional education.
