Role of religiosity level in behavior self-regulation processes

This article describes a pilot study performed using the author's questionnaire on religious faith adherence, Varvara I. Morosanova SSP-98 self-control questionnaire and the scale codependency by Nikonova. It is shown that the most psychologically advantaged, i.e. having developed self-control and low levels of codependency are "moderately religious" person. Those who practically committed to the religious model of the world, have lower level of self-regulation, and devoutly religious persons combine high flexibility of behavior with an equally high level of codependent behavior.
