To solve the problems of improving the health of the population, it is necessary to develop targeted measures aimed at reducing the amount of alcohol consumed, for which objective data on the amount of alcohol consumed by the population and its surrogates are critically important. Since 2008, the authorities and organizations of Rospotrebnadzor have been conducting toxicological monitoring, which includes the personalized collection of data on acute poisoning, their assessment, analysis and forecast of the situation. The highest level of morbidity and mortality from alcoholism is noted in the northern, arctic regions. Purpose of the study: to analyze the indicators of acute poisoning with alcohol-containing products of the population of the Murmansk region, Nenets, Yamalo-Nenets and Chukotka autonomous districts. For the analysis, we used the data of the federal information fund of social and hygienic monitoring for 2008-2020, data from Rosstat. On the territory of the analyzed subjects, poisoning with alcohol-containing products occupies a leading place in the structure of poisoning. In 2008-2020. the average indicators of acute poisoning with alcohol-containing products in 3 constituent entities of the Russian Arctic (except for the Nenets Autonomous Okrug) are statistically significantly lower than the average Russian indicators, there is a high proportion of poisoning with a lethal outcome. The Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous Districts, which are characterized by a statistically significant excess of the average levels of this indicator in comparison with the Russian Federation as a whole, are areas of disadvantage in terms of indicators of poisoning with alcohol-containing products with a lethal outcome. Despite the downward trend in acute poisoning with alcohol-containing products in a number of regions, this problem remains extremely urgent due to the high level of fatal poisoning.
