Purpose: The following report describes the structure of the September readings of menology BAN 21.4.4. (Nov. 928). The importance of this description is that it may be an integral part of the linguotextological research as menologies and the description can also be used by researchers of the history of Russian and Church Slavonic languages. Results: The first sixteen readings of the manuscript refer to September. Among them are three readings of praise to the Nativity of the Virgin (num. 1, 2, 3), reading in memory of Joachim and Anna (num. 4), eight readings on the Exaltation of the Cross (num. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12), three readings in memory of John the Theologian (num. 13, 14, 16) and the reading in memory of Sts. Dada, Govevda and Kazdoi (num. 15).These readings occur in forty two Russian manuscripts of XIV-XVII centuries; overall we have reviewed the composition of seventy two Russian manuscript books in the descriptions of the respective collections of manuscripts. BAN 21.4.4 (Nov. 928) is a convolute, collected in the XIX century, but the majority (76 of 77) of its constituent pieces previously included in the manuscript books of XVI century. Earlier the September readings were included in two different manuscript books of XVI century: the readings number 1, 2, 7, 8, 9 were included in manuscript book that was written in Stroganov scriptorium. The specified number in the collection BAN 21.4.4. (Write. 928) follows at the beginning of the description of reading. Then there is the association of the calendar (day and month), next is the name of reading. When reading is attributed, separated by commas the author of Word indicates. In some cases that the Word without the author in BAN 21.4.4. (Nov. 928) is attributed to other collections. This is particularly indicated. After the title (or title and author) we give the texts beginnings of 10-15 words. Start of reading is cited by BAN 21.4.4. (Nov. 928). Immediately after the start of reading the manuscript sheets in which the reading is found are indicated. The manuscripts, which also contain the text, are listed in separate paragraph indicating the sheets. Conclusion: The most popular readings were numbers 3, 10, 13 (23 use cases), number 7(18 use cases), number 11 (19 use cases), numbers 12 и 16 (20 use cases), while readings number 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 14 were not widely used and manuscript books of XIV-XVII centuries. Reading on the Exaltation of the Cross number 5 and 6 are two versions - a short one and a long one - of single reading. The reading on the Exaltation of the Cross number seven has the earliest list (XIV c.). The reading number 15 does not occur in any of the seventy two we reviewed Russian manuscripts of XIV-XVII centuries, except BAN 21.4.4. (Nov. 928). The data on the composition of manuscript menology BAN 21.4.4. (Nov. 928) introduced in the scientific revolution will contribute to the further study of sustainable structure collections, particularly menologies and works within them.
