About the specifics of the activity of penitentiary authorities and institutions in case of criminal emergencies

This article reveals the specific features of the activities of the bodies and institutions of the penal correction system of the Russian Federation in conditions of criminal emergencies and suggests an approximate algorithm for organizational actions of the head of the territorial body of the penitentiary (head of the correctional institution) in conditions of the penitentiary, which may, for example, include notification and collection of personal transfer of available information to higher management bodies and interacting structures, determining the concentration of the main efforts for the actions of the available forces and means, etc. In conclusion, the author summarizes that the effectiveness of the fulfillment by the bodies and institutions of the penitentiary system of complex service and combat tasks arising during criminal emergencies depends on the skillful organization of special professional training of personnel.
