On the duration period of the bank guarantee

The article analyses various approaches to the bank guarantee duration period in the court practice and civil law studies. The author reviews the mechanism of bank guarantee renewal within the duration period of principal obligations. Relying on result of the research conducted the author formulates her own point of view on determination of bank guarantee duration period with regard to its functional direction.
