The results of studies conducted in sub-taiga zone of Omsk region in 2005-2013 showed that the average daily air temperature and amount of precipitation affects the growth, development and yield of grain formation of fodder beans and content of protein. The duration of the interphase and the vegetation period is reduced with an increase in the average daily air temperature (r = -0.52…-0.90) and tighten with the large amount of precipitation (r = 0.49-0.78). Grain yield increased with large amount of precipitation in the period of “the beginning of flowering - maturing” (r = 0.52 ± 0.16), but the protein content in it, at the same time, decreased (r = -0.76 ± 0.12). When sowing May 10-15 and at higher average air temperature during the “beginning of flowering - maturing” the germination of seeds of fodder bean was the highest and amounted to 90-92%, compared with late planting dates. The most favorable conditions for ripening, the formation of grain yield, protein accumulation and the formation of high germination fold are at early sowing 10-15 May. Therefore, grain sowing of fodder beans should be carried out in the early stages, which provide the maturation of this crop and high yield - 2.65-2.88 t/ha harvest the best quality in the conditions of sub-taiga zone of Western Siberia.
