About the development and modern condition of the department of directing of variety and theatrical performances

The authors of the article tell about the main historical stages of the progressive development of the department of directing of variety and theatrical performances from the year of its foundation till the present days. The main focus is on the sources of the department formation, its screenwriting and ditecting school, iconic personalities who contributed much to the reputation of one of the oldest departments of East-Siberian state institute of culture.
