Theoretical approaches in describing of stenobionts (specialists) and evribionts (generalists) and some applications obtained by analysis of stenobionts' dynamics along succession are discussed. Two factors (soil moisture and soil richness) are analysed using Tsyganov's ecological indicators values applied to a great number of geobotanical descriptions on temporary sample plots.
