About types of linguistic modelling

This article presents an analysis of some linguistic models of the simple sentence, such as the model of sentence members, Chomsky's transformational model, the model of immediate constituents, and the distributional model of Ch. Fries. The article also deals with the concept suggested by V. V. Bogdanov and G. G. Pocheptsov as regards the interrelation of the meaning and the predicate structure.
