Effect of chemical composition on the heat treatment conditions of 110G13L steel castings

The possibility of reducing the duration of heat treatment of castings made of 110G13L (1.1 C - 13 Mn) steel by differentiation of temperatures of heating before quenching according to the carbon content is discussed. Influence of lowering the heating temperature upon microstructure is investigated for a series of experimental melts.
