Оп the influence of water level fluctuations in the reservoir of the Perm region on nesting some aquatic birds

Kamskoye and Votkinskoye reservoirs are dependent on seasonal regulation of flowing water. Therefore vast areas, suitable for nesting birds are subject to annual floods which is harmful for nesting aquatic and other kinds of birds. According to the calculations it is known more than two thousand of nests turn out to be in flood area which is equal to 15% of the total number of species in the region. Taking mto consideration the given situation some recommendations some recommendations on the regulation of filling reservoirs suitable for nesting birds must be worked out.
