On the implementation of a lean management system to improve the quality of public services

The issues of effective management, including loss reduction and process optimization, are relevant for any objects of activity. The article examines the concept of lean production developed within the framework of the «Efficient Region» program - a joint project of the subjects of the Russian Federation and the state corporation «Rosatom» to improve state and municipal management. When implementing this project, the Committee on Printing and Interaction with the Mass Media solved the problems of optimizing the process of preparing responses to requests received from various sources (Unified Electronic Data Management System, Portal «Our Saint Petersburg», Feedback Platform, incident management) with identical questions, in terms of combining information flows in the concept of lean management. An analysis of the effect of process optimization was carried out and the economic effect of the project was calculated.
