About youth engagement terrorist organizations via the Internet

The purpose of the work is to investigate issues related to the involvement of young people in the activities of terrorist organizations using the Internet. Determine the factors (technical, social, psychological, etc.) that contribute to the specified activities of terrorists. The methods of content analysis, system-structural and comparative methods were used. The study made it possible to identify the most typical mental and psychological characteristics of modern youth that contribute to this activity of terrorists («anxiety of disconnection», the phenomenon of «distributed consciousness», mosaic and fragmentation of consciousness, etc.), the tactics used by them to recruit youth using the Internet. The novelty of the work lies in the definition and justification, taking into account the identified factors that contribute to the activities of terrorists of the two main groups of preventive and preventive measures of educational and educational nature, aimed at making it difficult for them to recruit on the Internet.
