About alternatives of execution of documentary verification (inspection) results in the form of an expert opinion

The article analyzes such relatively new for Russian criminal proceedings proof as expert opinion and considers the possibility to execute the results of inspections and documentary verifications in the form of an expert opinion. The authors states that an inspection or documentary verification are conducted by a person with expertise (special knowledge) in a definite sphere and acting as an expert and consequently its results should be executed in the form of an expert opinion.
