On the possibility of exemption from criminal liability due to reconciliation with the victim when committing a crime having two objects (by the example of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)

Criminal legislation and judicial practice regarding exemption from criminal liability in case of violation of traffic rules are analyzed in the article. Special attention is paid to exemption from criminal liability due to reconciliation with the victim when committing crimes having two objects, criminal liability for which is provided for by Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The author draws the conclusion about the necessity to introduce a comment to this Article, which establishes a specific reason for exemption from criminal liability, taking into account the specific character of public danger of the relevant traffic offences.
