On the construction of steel vertical cylindrical tanks by the rolling method

The article considers the issues of constructing tanks using the rolling method, its features, advantages and disadvantages are indicated. It is shown that for successful application of the rolling method for steel vertical cylindrical tanks, it is necessary to take into account their existing disadvantages and develop effective strategies for reducing them. It was found that a significant decrease in the specific consumption of steel is observed with an increase in the volume of the tank, and medium and large volume tanks are less metal-intensive.
