About the problem of updating adjustable parameters of a rotary combine harvester

Solving the problem of determining the optimal values of the regulated parameters of the working organs of a rotary combine harvester requires taking into account a large number of signs, including environmental factors, parameters of the technical condition of the machine, and indicators of the quality of harvesting operations. The modeling of decision-making is complicated by the uncertainty of estimates of a number of features and a complex system of interdependencies, as well as the need to adjust already established parameters due to the appearance of deviations in performance indicators. Intelligent systems are used to find the optimal values of the adjustable parameters of the combine harvester. Their necessary part is the parameter adjustment unit, which is due to changing harvesting conditions and possible technical problems. The paper considers a game-theoretic approach to the problem of adjusting the values of the adjustable parameters of a rotary combine harvester. Using the example of a specific deviation of the cleaning quality indicator, the features of the application of criteria used in decision-making tasks under uncertainty are considered. Laplace criterion, the maximum mathematical expectation and Savage criterion are those criteria relevant for solving the problem. Based on the analysis of empirical data and theoretical considerations, a matrix of indicators for the effectiveness of applying strategies to solve the adjustment problem and a matrix of risks of making an ineffective decision were obtained. There was carried out the analysis of the results of applying the critical approach. The possibilities and scope of its application are defined. The use of this approach in the decision output mechanisms of an intelligent grain harvester control system makes it possible to solve a number of problems: increasing the accuracy, efficiency and safety of agricultural work, reducing the load on the operator, and the costs of consumables.
