To the question of genre and stylistic diversity of Russian women drama: postSoviet period

The article is devoted to the analysis of contemporary Russian women playwrights N. Ptushkina, E. Gremina, N. Sadur, E. Isaeva and K. Dragunskaya. Women playwrights have also confidently declared themselves in terms of dramatic styles, genres and forms renewal. Their works are devoted not only to the themes of love, marriage and family traditional in the context of women's literature, and not only to problems of worldview contradictions between men and women. There revealed gender relations and their forms at a new historical stage, the desire of heroines to complete personal selfrealization, to a spiritual breakthrough, to the world with her own “I” and its full cognition. The author notes that a combination of psychological, historical and cultural methods of research and methods of feminist, gender studies make it possible to reveal the essence of creativity of female playwrights.
