On the vitality and public significance of the native languages of the indigenous peoples of Ugra: a sociological aspect

This paper discusses the issues of resilience and social significance of the native languages of the indigenous peoples of the North of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra. The main purpose of the study was to study the current state of the level of proficiency in native languages. Also assessing the level of resilience and social significance of the native languages of the indigenous peoples of the North in modern conditions. In particular, the results of sociological studies conducted on this topic in the Sovetsky district of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra in 2022 and earlier are summarized and analyzed. The research was carried out by the questionnaire method.
