On aspects of infrastructure development to ensure commodity flows to the Eastern region

Modern realities dictate a new order of conducting foreign trade activities due to sharply changed rates of movement of goods flows - from Europe to Asia. The article presents the main aspects of trade cooperation between Russia and the countries of Asia and the Eastern regions, and also identifies the goals already achieved within the framework of such cooperation. Despite the mutual interest of all participants in such trade integrations, the main risks in the implementation of infrastructure projects within the framework of Chinese initiatives are highlighted. The main directions for the development of transport infrastructure and improvement of trade relations between Russia and the countries of the East have been identified.
