About the authorship of “Fragment of the journey to *** I***T***”

We advocate the version that an outstanding work of the eighteenth-century Russian literature “Fragment of Journey…”, which was published anonymously, belongs to N. Novikov. Arguments are taken from the biographical circumstances, the creative history of the work, as well as from observations on the methods of narration.
