On efficiency analysis of the parallel algorithms for modeling the forest fire spreading

The numerical modeling of forest fire spread dynamics with parallel algorithms is considered. The various ways of decomposition of initial burning area are compared. The results of the preliminary theoretical analysis of the calculations acceleration and its comparing with results of computing experiment shows, that the greatest efficiency is achieved, at least, when using from 4 up 16 processors cluster to at two-dimensional splitting initial area.
