The epithets in the Russian spiritual poems (based on the collection of N. Varentsov)

The article deals with the description of the peculiarities of the use of the epithets in the texts of the Russian spiritual poems from the collection of N. Varentsov. The revealed epithets in the texts are divided into the inter-genre epithets, that are typical for the spiritual poems in the context of their close connection with the Christian religion and culture. There is conducted the grammatical and stylistic analysis of the adjective forms, used in the role of the epithets.
