About experience of Great Britain and Russia on prevention of the terrorist attacks conducted on railway minimization of their destructive consequences

The experience of Great Britain on implementation of various forms of precautionary activity directed to prevention of the terrorist attacks conducted on railway transport and objects of transport infrastructure and to the minimization of the destructive consequences following up the explosion is considered in the article. The factors of primary and secondary destruction made by explosion in the limited closed space of railway stations are considered; examples of committed acts of terrorism with similar consequences are presented. The algorithm of precautionary activity of transport police of Russia directed to prevention of terrorist attacks is described. The effective measures directed to improvement of law-enforcement activity in this sphere are proposed.
