About the main trends in the development of the customs payments system

Customs payments are a significant element of the revenue side of the federal budget, which attracts special attention. The article analyzes the dynamics and structure of customs payments over the past three years. Their role in the formation of the revenue part of the budget of the Russian Federation is shown. The main reasons for changes in the amounts of payments administered by customs authorities have been identified. The main directions of further improvement of the system of customs payments and fees are substantiated.
