Features of a morphological structure of an isthmus oviduct of the hens

The authors studied the features of a morphological structure of a layers isthmus oviduct of the Loman Brown breed in an age interval of 150-540 days. The following parameters are investigated: length, weight, diameter of an isthmus, sizes epithelium, height and width folds of a tunica mucosa, and structure of a wall of an isthmus. It was shown that the parameters under investigation increase more strongly in hens of 150-360-day-old with following deceleration in 540-day-old hens.
