About the peculiarities of patriotic education of young people in the conditions of a new reality

The changed socio-political conditions make their own adjustments to the existing paradigms of patriotic education of young people, which is reflected in complex strategic projects not only from the point of view of theoretical concepts, but also practical techniques and methods of its implementation. This article proposes an expansion of the typologization of the concept of patriotism as a social phenomenon and the separation into a separate group of such types as patriotism of peacetime and wartime; the importance of using the principle of anti-xenophobia in patriotic education is substantiated.
