On the peculiarities of mentality manifestation among migrants in the Republic of Buryatia

The article is devoted to the analysis of mentality of migrants of the Republic of Buryatia that is extremely actual in modern conditions. The author characterizes the mentality as the most important consequence of adaptation of various groups of the region, as a search of new approaches of transfer of social experience, as one of the ways of system knowledge of territorial community. The interaction of local population and migrants promotes the arising of some synthesis in cultural mode of life in both sides, and respectively, a special mentality among inhabitants of the republic. The research of the problems concerning strategies and consequences of cross-cultural interaction is quite important. The analysis of various sources, in particular, the results of sociological researches have allowed to define some features of mentality of migrants of the republic that is rather urgent for the Russian multiethnic state as stability of the interethnic relations becomes more obvious in account of social and economic processes of the last decades.
