On peculiarities of interrogation during the search for missing people, who disappeared under criminal circumstances

The article studies some questions of organization of search activity of law enforcement agencies, which appear during the search for missing people, who disappeared under criminal circumstances. In particular, the article dwells on the tactics of conduction of interrogation. It distinguishes peculiarities of planning an interrogation, and order of its conduction, depending on relation of a person to the accident, category of people, who should be interrogated, contents of questions, that should be obligatory asked by officers. The article pays special attention to psychological aspects and intricacies of conduction of such an investigative operation. The author distinguishes the most widely applied tactical options and means of communication with people with the aim to find out their possible involvement in disappearance of a person. The article views the peculiarities of interrogation with the help of a polygraph. Existing problems are presented and analyzed by the author with due regard to his practical activity in law enforcement authorities.
