On certain practical issues of conducting of expert examinations of road accidents that occurred due to the loss of stability motor vehicles

The article considers theoretical and practical issues concerning the methodology of expert studies of circumstances of overturning of passenger vehicles due to loss of stability and controllability. The results of specific expert studies of overturning vehicles of categories M1, M2 are analyzed. Conclusions are made about the influence of vehicle’s center of gravity height on its stability in different road-climatic conditions and about the necessity to take this value into account in expert calculations.
